Welcome to the 8th issue of the ImaginatUr! Lots of things have happened over the last month: new housing, new animals – and we have articles written by Glitchen for Glitchen about much of what’s been going on around here. If you’ve found yourself wondering which food gives you more bang (energy) for your buck (currants), Rae wrote a great article that you’ll need to read. Then there’s Kip’s popular Glitch on the Go, Gnome Critic (will yours be next?) and a Sandbox mission report.
We’ve also got a nifty poem by AwesomeCardinal2000, Soupie wrote a very informative column about what went on with the animal vote (did YOU know that the Sloth wasn’t included from the very beginning? I didn’t!) and we collaborated on a post about the Amazing Race – Glitch Edition. In addition to all that, read Days on the Peak about my harrowing journey to find Tamashii’s journal!

Things are happening around Ur all the time – parties, contests, protests – We’d love for more people to contribute in order to truly make this a community newspaper.
As an incentive to contribute, we’re willing to put our currants where our mouths are. If your story or photo is chosen for publication, you’ll see some good stuff in your mailbox!
If you contribute a photo without a story (most likely for GlUrbs), we’ll send ya 500c.
If you contribute a story or article that we print, we’ll pay 1000c.
If you make a graphic ad (and are not the requestor for the ad), we’ll pay 1000c. (Contact ennuienta or join the group to find out which ads we’re planning on doing for the next issue)
If you contribute a story with photos that we print, we’ll pay 1500c.
If you contribute original artwork (a comic, for example) that we use, we’ll pay a whole whopping 2000c.
… Not to mention being mentioned here on the issue highlights page or credited on photos used in GlUrbs.
We have proofreaders and editors, so even if you feel like you can’t write, go ahead and submit something anyway. We’ll gladly fix it up for you before it’s published. We’re also looking for artists to make classified ads.
